Quantum Superimposition

If you have seen our concept presentation, you would know that Quantum Superimposition is a Experiential Pavilion for Shenzhen Design Week MINDPARK 2018. The event was held between 20th to 23rd April, 2018 and hosted 10,000 visitors a day. The success of the pavilion lay on the realization of our concept on experiential design that not only create an emotional response from the visitors, but to capture the design narrative of each of the 10 future pavilions to be constructed in C Future City in the year 2020.

Design Development

Our client only gave us a budget, basic dimensions, they asked the team to design anything we like. However, the team only had 50 days to design and procure the pavilion. We worked directly with MAVO almost on a daily basis.

The green wall component by Patrick Blanc was composed in his artist studio and brought to site. The two 3m x 15.m panels was self irrigating and water pipes were carefully concealed so that it doesn't interfere with the aesthetics

The Final Installation

The Experiential Pavilion was visited by thousands of visitors. With the MINDPARK event being such a success, the pavilion will be moved to another venue in Day Two.
