Located in southeast Asia, The Pause is a high-end hotel with spectacular landscape and contemporary interiors inspired by Zen elements. Surrounded by nature and far away from town, The Pause creates a peaceful atmosphere and visitors can enjoy a sense of silence during the stay. One of the essential elements that contribute to a perfect vocation is to have a private time to rest well and listen to what one really needs. The Pause is a desirable place that enables visitors to reflect with silence and relieving landscape – it is designed to have a refreshing mindset after staying at The Pause.  

 

Entrance

The Pause is located in a tourism zone that is embraced by a fabulous landscape of mountains and sea. Arriving the hotel entrance along the boulevard, The Pause faces a peaceful sea that reflects the blue sky. The drop-off area attracts visitors to enter as it penetrates partial landscape of the hotel.

The Frame 

Entering The Pause through a neat entrance, visitors will be greeted by The Frame. With a 11m void in the centre, a significant contrast is created with the entrance. Natural sunlight is penetrated through full height glass wall; light blue wall with stripped patterns. Consistent and mild sunlights are provided to create a peaceful atmosphere. To reflect Yingyang elements, an artistic tree is placed at one end of The Frame while a realistic tree is placed at the other. Elegant and bright, The Frame serves as an arrival lobby to greet visitors. Minimal furniture is placed to enhance the sense of space and mobility in different spaces.

The Horizon


Walking along the axis, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of endless sea along The Horizon. Fabulous view and a moment of silence wipes stress away.

Garden

On the right side of the atrium, the Garden is surrounded by plants and nature. Integration of nature and interiors extends the peaceful and refreshing atmosphere to different zonings of The Pause. Visitors can sit there and have a coffee time to enjoy a moment of peace.

Canyon

Walking down from the stairs on the right of The Frame, visitors can find the Canyon, a high-end restaurant with bright designs and dark furniture creating a strong contrast. the Canyon delivers a deluxe dining experience with cosy environment and elegant design.

Falls

Next to full height glass, visitors can enjoy The Horizon at The Falls with endless shoreline and skyline. A perfect set suitable for weddings or other valuable occasions. The outdoor area is energized with ever-flowing water that guides visitors to the grassland.

Canopy

As an all-day restaurant, the Canopy serves regular meals and buffet. Light wood furniture, greenery and nature elements create a casual atmosphere for visitors to dine delightfully during their vacation.

Stone Bar

Dark black wall with stone texture; golden installation and lightings; Stone Bar is a deluxe bar which its look and feel are completely different from other spaces of The Pause.

Steak

A western restaurant that provides excellent quality of food and beverage. Instead of using light beige furniture, it uses dark furniture and bright featured lights for Stone Bar to create uniqueness. A large circular bar in the centre. With bespoke design features, it is recommended for The Pan to develop itself as an iconic restaurant of The Pause.

Chopsticks

Besides The Pan, The Pause has a Chinese restaurant called Chopsticks. It uses contemporary western design which combines with mild red installation ceiling and cupboard. Occupied a large space, Chopsticks is a good place to have gatherings with family and friends.

Drop

To create a leisure and relaxing atmosphere, the Drop provides spa treatments to visitors to minimize their stress. Earth tone colours and textured materials are utilized. Mild lighting and spacious Zen layout favour the process of calming and meditating to offer a peaceful mind to visitors.

Rest

The overall colours and materials of the guestrooms are consistent with the general design of The Pause. Gradients of beige colour are mainly used with a sense of comfortability instead of dullness. The contrast created from the relatively dark carpet and feature wall brings visual stimulation and vitalizes the room. The simplicity of design creates a sense of home; thus visitors can enjoy the hospitality to the max. For partial rooms, the sea view can be enjoyed from the balconies to extend the nature to the room to provide a peaceful environment for visitors to rest well and reflect.
