Congratulations to Eric for being promoted to Associate Director for his endeavour in managing our Shenzhen studio as well as his excellence in design and coordination in delivering our bespoke designs to clients.
Graduated with a Master in Architecture Design and Urban Planning at the University of Edinburgh. Prior to joining QUAD studio, Eric practiced architecture in several international design companies including ATKINS and AEDAS. He was engaged in large scale development projects in Greater China including Huaqiang North SEG Factory Redevelopment, Baoneng Global Financial Center for Greenland Group and Sungang Mixed-Use Development for Shenzhen Centralcon Holdings.
As a reliable and capable team leader, with his close communication and positive attitude, Eric has developed a strong bonding with his team at QUAD studio. He has led the team to participate in many large-scale projects including Suining Jinhua 1958 Cultural District which is located in Sichuan, China. Covers 75,000sqm, it is an urban revitalization project that preserves traditional culture and industrial characters whilst in parallel injecting contemporary design elements to create a cohesive design composition that seamlessly blend the past and the present. The project consists of retail, hospitality, art and cultural components. Suining Jinhua 1958 Cultural District was awarded a Honorable Mentions in Architecture MasterPrize 2020 (Restoration and Renovation Category), the project is estimated to be completed in 2021 to provide a new cultural destination to Suining.
As an Associate Director QUAD studio, Eric will continue to oversee the operations at our Shenzhen studio and to explore new business opportunities with our directors.
