QUAD studio had the pleasure to be invited to feature in TVB’s television program ‘Decoding the Greater Bay Area’. QUAD shared views on the advantages and opportunities of Hong Kong architectural design firms and Hong Kong architects in the future developments in mainland China. QUAD has always focused on the China market and in 2018, we established our Shenzhen Studio as an extension of our Hong Kong studio facilitating communication with our Chinese clients and to understand their needs and local culture.
Facing huge competition from the Greater Bay Area, the advantage of QUAD lies in their creative ability and international professionalism, with mix of eastern and western educational backgrounds, we provide creative and innovative ideas, which straddles on a fine line between what is considered global and local. In addition, being from highly dense city like Hong Kong, QUAD believes that Hong Kong architects have an advantage of being able to explore solutions for increasing logistical efficiency, fulfil multiple needs and create added value for the city.
During the interview, the Lily Square, Populus X and C Future Lab were also mentioned, demonstrating the extensive experience in the use of space by QUAD studio. The interview will be broadcast on the Jade Channel on TVB in September.
