Il Sapore, a bespoke design that “Tastes” the life

A luxury retreat in the Sichuan prefecture within spectacular Sichuan landscape. Here we wanted to combine Tuscan Luxury within the Sichuan Wilderness where East meets West. An ultimate sanctuary for contemporary living and an ultimate weekend getaway for the person who possess everything.  

Il Sapore, Italian for the taste uses the combination of leather, marble and wood to brings a comfortable and luxurious atmosphere. Sumptuous personal collection exhibits and resonates with the space while the outdoor garden envision the atmosphere.

 


Entrance

Using a neat design, the entrance uses wooden wall and furniture to create a warm and calm feeling for visitors. Natural sunlight penetrates from two narrow full-height windows to create a more spacious entrance by delivering the landscape view from the ground.

 



Living Room

Turning left from the entrance, the living room extends the elegant atmosphere with bright interiors and dark furniture. Simple outlines with wood texture enhance the visualization and contrast. Wooden racks display the artistic collection. With B&O domestic audio equipment, it adds a sense of stylish living to the space.


 

Gathering Zone

Going through the greenery zone to enter the underground gathering zone. The zone uses a bright design with natural sunlight penetration. Leather furniture of different colors and materials highlights the design details of the luxurious villa.



 

 

Wine Cellar and Cigar Museum

The wall and bar table of the whole wine cellar and cigar museum use marbles of different patterns. The high-end and modern space uses light marble floor with wooden transparent wine cellar.


Garage

There is a garage at the basement for visitors to park, display or fix their cars with a rotating rack on the ground. A glass door separates the gaming room, wine cellar and cigar. While enjoying the nice cars, visitors can also enjoy other entertainment.


 


Greenery Zone

There is a greenery wall at the zone of the villa centre. It immerses with the interiors to inject an energetic atmosphere. The zone provides a space for passing through wine cellar and social gatherings.


 

Dining Room

The dining room is located at the right side from the entrance. Using a royal blue as dominant color tone, the dining room continues to use wooden furniture. Royal blue leather chairs with light grey surface create a bright contrast. Having a large full-height glass window, the natural sunlight enters the dining room with the landscape view. To satisfy different dining needs, the space consists of Chinese and Western kitchen utensils.




 

Bedroom

To be consistent with the general design style, the bedroom uses wooden and dark furniture to create a calm atmosphere. A neat interior design creates a contemporary leisure space.



Master Room

Using leather, marble and wood, the combination brings a comfortable and luxurious master room. Different from the guest room and bedroom, the master room uses light color of wooden furniture with dark marbles to increase the visual layering and contrast. It boosts the harmony of the design to create a comfortable resting area.

 


Washroom

Washroom of the master room uses marbles with beige wall to lighten up the space. Visitors can customise their own marble bath tubs according to their personal needs for a more unforgettable bathing experience. Two white washbasins are placed along the sides of bath tub. The linear design extends into the shower for placing shower products.


Closet

Divided into two sides, the closet provides space for both male and female visitors to put their clothes and accessories. To extend the style of minimalism, it is an open closet while a half-height mirror and wooden desk is put for dressing.




Exhibition Platform and Balcony

Going up to 2/F, the exhibition platform is made by marbles of different gradients to place large art pieces. Leather wooden doors are used at the sides to separate the bedroom and master room for a greater privacy. Dark deck chairs and wooden coffee table are placed on the balcony for visitors to enjoy the leisure time with natural sunlight.
