In October last year, QUAD was invited to CCTV recording studios in Beijing to participate in an interview, where we shared views and ideas on architectural design, the challenge and difficulties on running an architectural design firm. QUAD believes that design has no boundaries, besides architectural design also operating within the field of architecture, urbanism, interiors, product and landscape design, research and development. During the past 4 years, QUAD has collaborated with the best leading creative individuals from all over the world, including creative engineers, project designers, digital artists, botanists, to create a unique contemporary design all over Greater China.
QUAD’s design team has the creative ability and international professionalism, with a mix of eastern and western educational backgrounds, we provide innovate and creative ideas that straddles the line between global innovation in local context. Utilising the unique local cultural and historical background, that combines intelligent smart technology and nature to build a contemporary vision for our future city.
During the interview, our concepts and approach for our Chengdu NBD Centre, The Living Spline and C Future Lab were discussed in depth, demonstrating the extensive experience of QUAD studio. The interview will be broadcast on the CCTV in April.
