QUAD Studio attends the presentation ceremony by the CREDAWARD Design Awards. Associate Director Eric Wen was present for the Awards Ceremony receiving our award for C Future Lab for winning the 8th CREDAWARD Gold Award in the category of Interior Design of Culture and Art Centre.
The 8th CREDAWARD Design Awards Ceremony in Shanghai organized by DJSER, includes planning design, architectural design, landscape design, interior design, and lighting design. CREDAWARD commends commercial projects with reasonable functions, innovation, and the characteristics of the times and uniqueness.
C Future Lab
With QUAD studio as the main interior designer and curator, C Future Lab combines the work of a group of the most innovative designers from all corners of the world, including digital artists teamLab form Japan, landscape consultant Patrick Blanc from Franc, industrial designer Ross Lovegrove from the UK, and China’s exhibition specialist, MOTSE. In this sense, QUAD’s role is similar to a movie director or orchestral conductor, pulling together a myriad of design talent and integrating their creations into a single space.
About Award
8th CREDAWARD invites global academic strengths and leaders of quality development and construction groups to serve as the Jurors. The Jury is composed of all Chairs, Academic Jurors, Real Estate Jurors, and hundreds of industry Reviewers. The award adheres to the evaluation standards of architectural aesthetics, environment protection, user experience and economic benefits and the principles of fairness, impartiality and rationality to conduct rigorous, objective and fair voting.
CREDAWARD was initiated by DJSER in 2014. CREDAWARD has developed into an influential international award in China because of the authoritative judges, strict judging process. It is also praised by the industry as one of the most challenging awards.
The 8th CREDAWARD has received 1,353 works from 394 companies. Participating companies and works are from 15 countries and regions including China Mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, America, Britain, Australia, Thailand, Singapore, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Malaysia, Laos, the Czech Republic, etc.
In the fierce global competition, the rate of Merit Award of 8TH CREDAWARD is only 31.07%, the silver award winning rate is 4.66%, and the gold award winning rate is 4.51%. Congratulations to all the award winners!
