Times I-City is located in Foshan near Qiandeng Lake. QUAD studio won an international competition to design the façade of the new office park. Here we deliberately focused on some of the details for the building façade.
In collaboration with the interior designers and engineers, we developed a family of window wall systems. #5 & #6 are designed to be small headquarter offices. Based on a 4m grid, we created a pallet of façade modules that can be randomly assembled based on their functionality. #7 & #8, we create a series of portals framing and breaking down the original mass, accentuating the main entrances and obscuring the outdoor units. Plot 1A of TIC was completed in November, 2022.
