During the end of April, we shared our design process for The Full Garment [Gamut] Exhibition. Today, we share our installation process of our Anamorphic Synthesis Installation by QUAD studio + Noel Chu Atelier. Once all the components were fabricated, the team used 2 days to assemble all the components together resulting to a bespoke art piece for the exhibition.
All elements disseminated when viewed in terms of layering and sophistication. The dress is deliberately inverted to allow the visitor to see the installation in a different perspective.
Inspired by the peacock, the plumage and stems of the dress radiates out like a peacock in full bloom. Symbolising a metamorphosis or a transformation, the installation will represent: The spectrum of artists and designers coming together creating an object that represents; Vision, Beauty, Pride, Power and Refinement.
The Full Gamut Exhibition is Exhibited at D2 East Wing, 2/F, 822 Lai Chi Kok Road. From 5 May to 19 July 2023
