QUAD is honoured to be awarded two Honorable Mentions in 2022 Architecture MasterPrize (AMP) – Chengdu NBD Centre for Architectural Design & Mixed Use Architecture and Qinhuangdao Sales Centre Café Bar for Interior Design & Commercial Interior.
Chengdu NBD Centre
Located close to Jiaozi Park, Guixi Ecological Park and the Jinjiang River, the Chengdu NBD Centre it is one of the first of many iconic projects in the Jiaozi Park business district and an important fulcrum of a world park like business district in Chengdu. As an extension of the park into the development, our goal was to create a new Cultural Icon for Chengdu and a place of destination with a green low carbon public realm for the city. The mixed-use development stands at 120m high consisting of Twin office towers, Retail and Cultural facilities clustered around a multi-level of public realm.

Qinhuangdao Sales Centre Café Bar
Located in Habitat Sales Centre in between of ‘Natural Boulevard’ and ‘Contemporary Art Boulevard,’ Café Bar has a simple and elegant design providing a social media check-in spot that blends the sea into the sales centre. The café bar is a hybrid of nature and cultural art. Delivering a unique experience of Qinhuangdao’s nature, the design brings in exterior nature elements into the Café Bar with warm colour tones and greenery wall art. The multi-functional sales centre and interactive café bar integrate nature, art and commercial to build a high mobility sales and art centre in Qinhuangdao.
